Congrats to the Fort Wayne Komets.... Went to the game last night against the Muskegon Lumberjacks... Great game... A lot of hitting and really some great hockey. Komets ending up winning 4-1 and took the series 4-1 also. I took some pics at the game during the celebration and they are available here

For those of us that live in Fort Wayne and surrounding areas this is all we have. No pro teams, no NHL, just the jungle and the komets... Congrats on an awesome season.

I have made it on a couple beer... i mean bus trips up there.... Have you ever made it to Fort Wayne? We were JAMMED PACKED last night... 10,800 people all dressed in black and orange... it was a sight to see...

i haven't been down there since the 80's when my dad would take me once in a while, back when the IHL had a few more teams. by that i mean more than six, haha.

Haha... I hear ya... OH the IHL days... dont let them hear you say those three little letter anywhere near the stadium though... Thems fightin words...

We have been trying to convince the frankes for the last couple years the UHL is a joke... 6 teams (5 not including the joke they call flint)? come on...
