Your Used Stamps Can Help a Wounded Veteran
Hey guys, as many of you know I am a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. What some of you may not know is that there is a project going on right now where used stamps are being used to help raise awareness for wounded veterans. I am collecting used stamps to support this cause. If you are interested, tear the envelope around the stamp, collect a bunch of them, and then send them to me. PM me for my address. The stamp you use to send your used stamps will also be used to support the cause as well.
I have been asking some of the athletes to join in this cause as well by sending me their used stamps as well. It doesn't matter if it is a 1 cent stamp or an air mail stamp, or even a foreign stamp. My job is doing this and so far we have collected over 1,000 stamps in less than a month. I am hoping that many of you will put the stamps from SASE returns to good use.
If you have any question please feel free to contact me. For those of you interested in getting more involved in helping vets contact your local Veterans Administration (VA), VFW, or American Legion. Thanks everybody!I collect NY Yankees, NY Giants, NY Rangers, NY Knicks, and NJ Nets. I am willing to trade. PM me if you have any cards signed by players from these teams.
Working on collecting all living New York Giants (football) and New York Yankees. The question is which team drives me nuts first!!!

They help raise awareness. It is similar to collecting plastic bottle caps for kidney dialysis, or aluminum can tops for whatever cause. Usually a corporation or business pledges to give x amount of money per 1,000 collected. For example, at work we are also collecting the plastic bottle caps for kidney dialysis. 1,000 caps gets 1 hour of dialysis for this kid in our community.
I appreciate you guys jumping in on this. Thank you very much.
