i love to buy cards on ebay but if you are buying stuff that books for like less then $10 the shipping usually costs more then the card. But I have gotten some really decent deals on stuff in the $10-$50 BV range.

I find the only way to get little things on ebay.... and still get them at a good price (when you included shipping) is to hold off until you can find a seller with multiples (and the more the better) that you want.

For future reference, you'll make a lot more money on your cards if you don;t "gang" scan them. Do individual scans and people can focus solely on the card they want instead of having others in the picture "clutter" their view.
Just some friendly unsolicited advice.
Did you sell that Messier yet? I bet that brings in a fair dinkum of coin.

Messier has not sold yet, I relisted it. My only offer so far was more than the first one sold for, and the second went lower than the first. But mine is clearly better than the other 2 that were listed. I guess I've been overly picking about what I'm asking, and I shouldn't be, the market isn't what it was when I was selling a couple years ago. That said, I wont take less for it than $175, because it's nicer than the one that sold at $153.
And youre probably right about the scans, I'll make sure to put the individual cards on in future.

I think you would of gotten more for your card if you had listed it to end at a better time, you posted it to end yesterday (a thursday just before 10pm) i've found that having end on a Sunday will bring you more $ then selling during the week....as for buyers, I've the same thing happen to me on a Crosby, out of the blue the card jumped and I saw the buyer had a 0 rating so I knew the bid wouldn't pan out and of course it didn't. Generally though that is the exception, 98% of the people I deal with are very decent people who pay on time....but like anything else always a few bad apples out there but I don't let that stop me, still love e-Bay both as a buyer and seller..
