I think you can find fault with every franchises. It stinks when a fan base does this but people on both side of the pond show their class less actions every year. Booing of the anthem, trash on the ice, etc. All we can do is try to do our part. Sad to see this happen.

Yea I was gonna say the same thing. It happened twice against Washington. The difference is that Vancouver fans at least stayed and supported their team. I was at game 3 at MSG and by the end of the 2nd period 75% of the crowd had left. The same thing happened in game 6. Neither were great examples of class IMO.

Being a philly fan Ive seen my fair share of classless acts but when it slows up the game and when things like this happen it is just really frustrating.

I've seen it a lot but a lot of the time it comes after a BS call or a cheap hit. not after losing a game cause the other team was better.

True - You will find many things in every arena but the two things that get me the most are
1. Booing or making any remarks during the anthems (Both US and Canada)
2. Throwing anything on the ice (except for hattricks)
Its disrepectful to make any remarks during the anthems and throwing things on the ice does NOTHING but slow the game (which you are just extending the agony). Neither will change the outcome of the game...
The chanting....well.... whatever, fans will chant and make comments about refs - that will happen in every arena and will never change.......no harm done

I am embarrassed, being a Canucks fan, a Ticket Holder at that. IMO, we have the most fickle fan base of any team in the NHL. It's sad... Whenever I'm at a game, and I hear a "booo", I get so angry. The team doesn't need that crap. A TRUE fan wouldn't boo, a TRUE fan supports the team no matter what. So, on behalf of all Canucks "Fans", I humbly apologize for "our" actions during Game 5. We are bigger than that for the most part; it's the band-wagon jumpers that ruin it for the rest of us die-hards.
