    HI Guys,

since the season is nearing its end just want to see your views here. Who among the current crop of rookies are a hit and who are busts. though we all know one year aint enough to say they are bust but who do you think wont live enough on the league .

How long do you think stamkos will need to go and break out

I can see a lot of people saying Stamkos was a bust but if you look at his stats in the last 20 games of the season the kid had 11 G, 8 A for 19 PTS. Also had a shooting percentage of 23.5% and won 44.5% of his face-offs. So in all reality he was starting to play better as the season went on and continued it for Team Canada

Yeah Stamkos proved himself down the stretch. Honestly he really has NO team around him besides Vinny and St. Louis. Maybe Prospal.

Umm people who impressed me are obvious...Mason, Brassard, Wheeler you know the drill

2 other guys I think did a good job this season, regardless of their stats are Claude Giroux, and Drew Doughty. I thought they both played their roles very well.

    Disappointment - Kyle Turris

After watching Stamkos in the Worlds, I could never call him a bust, nor any other rookie who played this year.

I'm not sure what the fascination for hockey talk about rookies is. I like to give them at least 8 years before I trash them lol.

Claude Giroux played excellent during the second half of the season after he was called up and into the playoffs. He may be the best puck handler the flyers have ever had.

Drew Doughty may not have had the best stats but he showed GREAT GREAT GREAT talent and hockey sense. He will be great for sure

As for disappointments, Turris and Boedker. Stamkos too but thats cause I think stamkos is overrated
