The same card with a BGS grading will usually sell a bit higher than it would if it was PSA graded. IMO i dont see a difference. BGS/PSA.. to me a 9 is a 9 and the card looks great in either slab...

Its an ongoing debate how its such a conflict of interest that Beckett Slabs the card and then places the values on the cards... hmmm... that cant be manipulated.

Depends on cards but there are a few difference points of PSA and BGS.
    (Just from my experience.)

    1) a few kinds of cards(not all) are still moving into PSA graded case.

But I have never seen any cards moving in BGS graded case.

    2) But if you are really strict 90's NBA Card collector, you will prefer finest cards with Coating. Most of BGS Graded finest cards don't have coating. But many of PSA finest graded cards have coating.

    3) and this is my OP, but the reason why BGS might be a bit more popular than PSA, there is description at BGS case. But PSA has no reason why that card is PSA 9 or PSA 10.

bumping this as I have a similar question regarding the grading system, instead of making another thread.

Ive noticed that some BGS have a gold label grading system, silver and for the lower grades ones white.

Anybody could shed some light on this?

    thanks :)
