    Prices question

Okay, so I want to get into trading.. But I don't know prices for cards..
I thought I had like hundreds of dollars in just a handful of cards just to find out that they are around $50.

How will I be able to know prices better? Should I buy a basketball prices book at my local card shop?

Or does trading go by personal value?

You could check out the completed listings feature on ebay to find out the sv on some cards to get a better idea how much they are going for.

I would also suggest purchasing a Beckett or Tuff Stuff Magazine. I know it feeds the machine, but they really can be helpful for a beginner in the Hobby.
