A heads-up for some of you on the new UFC cards.
http://ufc-topps.blogspot.com/
Follow the process of the new sets there (it updates about every wednesday).
The new stuff will be out this summer and has 2 auto and 2 gu per box at a presale of $65-70. There will also be retail boxes this time that guarantee 1 auto or gu. There will be preview cards ready at the expo this weekend and this set will have many more of the TUF and mid/lower tier fighters and prospects.

So far i have looked and all of the presales are sold out. Even the ones that were at $100+. Its crazy how hot these are already getting with the mid level fighters. Your almost better off buying lots off of ebay but what fun is that. Theres nothin like opening a fresh box of cards!!

yeah especially considering how easily you could have gotten Round 1 back in February where most sites had it for presale at around $70 average (got mine for $67), and that set had more guaranteed autos/relics and was way more limited than this set. The new set has a lower per pack SRP (1 dollar less) than Round 1. It's definitely making me considering ordering less boxes for series 2.
Even more fustrating is that even if you managed to preorder at the ridiculous $100+ prices, there is no price guarantee if anymore sets become available again for a lesser price. You are stuck at the price you preordered at no matter what.
I never thought i'd say this, but I'm actually hoping that the new cards will be delayed like the first one, so that Topps will have more time to get their supply in order so that everyone won't have to clamour about and break their bank to get this set.

You probably will have better luck at your local cardshops. Thats actually a good idea. Obviously everyone is on the internet trying to get these things. I'll have to start calling around.
