sniped= being out bid at the last minute. in this case it was in the last 18 seconds.

Congrats dude, just wondered if anyone out there has any opinions on sniping, i.e. what program to use, does it open your computer up to virus risk, safety issues, etc.

Like the main poster, I am getting sick of getting sniped, so I am thinking about taking the "if you can't beat em, join em" stance on this activity. Plus, it seems to be monitoring my ebay account at random hours when an auction is closing.

    Congrats again.

I don't use thos programs. I always try to be at the computer at the time the auction is ending. I have got some really good deals for me and for my wife business.
