The Anti-Red Wings Thread

Ok, who else wants to see the Red Wings get not only eliminated on their home ice tonight in Game 7, but flat out DESTROYED & EMBARASSED by the Ducks?

I'm not a big Ducks fan, but I do HATE THE WINGS. I've been living in enemy territory since September 1995 and it's just awful. I moved from Levittown, PA (about 30 miles from Philly) to Southeast Michigan.

The following year after I moved, the Red Wings swept my Flyers to win the Stanley Cup, if that wasn't bad enough, I was tormented non-stop by Wings fans left and right, and still am to this day.

So needless to say, I do not like the Wings. I do respect the heck outta them though, they are a great organization, but I can't cheer them on.

i dont hate the Wings, but I have mixed feelings on this topic since the Rangers are out of the running. On one hand, I'd like to see someone besides the Wings win because im not a huge fan of the same team winning all the time. On the other hand, I'd love to see Hossa get a ring to spite all the Pens fans who call him a traitor for taking a pay cut to go to the Wings instead of resigning with the Pens.

bitter about what? lol. I don't have an interest in it really, I just think its crazy to call someone a traitor for wanting to play for a different team. If he took twice the amount pittsburg offered to play for the Isles then yeah maybe, but the guy took less money because he is after the cup and not the money and I commend him for that. But i really dont care who wins since my team is out.

I don't hate the Wings, they just don't interest me. I find them boring to watch and they're in the playoffs every year. Meh
