    When Bad Redemptions Go Good

Devin Harris does not sign his stickers. Thank you!!!!

The week of March 20th I reviewed and did a Video Highlights of Topps Murad box break. The box produced a Devin Harris Framed Mini Autograph redemption card. While Devin Harris is an excellent player and I know that the framed bordered mini's are serial numbered in very low quantities, I was thrilled by the pull or upset that it was a redemption.

Today, less than two months later, I find this in my mailbox:

    http://www.voiceofthecollector.com/
    Card Supplies
    Toploaders 60 point $4, 100 point $7, 140 point $4, 190 point $3, 240 point $3
Soft Sleeves Standard $1 and Thick $1.50
    TOP-LOADER 3X4,100 CT PENNY SLEEVES INCLUDED $11

I also redeemed that card. Didn't get any mail or letter from topps yet, but I'm curious what I will get...

ha, I just got 4 separate packages from topps. They obviously don't care to pay international shipping costs 4 times!

for my Devin Harris auto redemption, I got:
a Topps Signature Isiah Thomas auto + 3 packs of Bowman Sterling 07-08

for my silver parallell auto of Mario Chalmers redemption, I got:
a Topps Signature Spud Webb auto + 3 packs of Bowman Sterling 07-08

for my 2 Darrell Arthur auto redemptions, I got:
another 2 Topps Signature Spud Webb autos but no Bowman Sterling.

overall pretty pleased with the redemption. Got some solid cards in the Sterling packs.

It's my opinion, but when card manufacturers can't deliver on their redemptions, they should go above and beyond matching card values. They should feel an obligation to repair the relationship with the collector. Key word = "should".
