Obama: Public will force Republicans to compromise
Obama: Public will force Republicans to compromise
Public pressure eventually will force congressional Republicans to cut deals with the Obama administration on big issues such as health care, President Barack Obama predicted Thursday...
..."I think that we'll see more and more agreement over time as the Republican Party starts to realize that the American people want results right now," Obama said. "They don't want bickering. And when they realize that, they'll have an open, outstretched hand from me."
So he's all for bipartisanship...as long as Republicans are the ones making the compromises. Should we send him a Webster's?

I just hope that Republicans quit continuing to sacrifice their standards and convictions for temporary satisfaction. If they'd stick to their guns of conservatism, and offer conservative solutions that will work, Republicans(and more importantly the country) would come out on top.
Sadly, too many conservatives have swerved into the middle lanes to get votes. This only ruins their credibility, and has them voting for socialist legislation.....bush or obama. The bailouts & stimulus started with bush, obama just made them a lottt worse.
Too bad there aren't more Ron Pauls out there that actualy vote against this garbage time after time.
