SP (Retail) vs. SP Authentic question...

What is the difference as far as book value? For example, I have an MJ card #29 and MJ Authentic Profiles #AP-10, both SP. The latest beckett does not list SP, just SP Authentic. The card numbers for SP Authentic are exactly the same, just wondering what the difference is...I'm sure these cards book for less due to the big difference in cost between a box of SP and SP Authentic. Can someone explain please?

i think the bv on base and inserts will be the same. The big difference in price will only hurt because the odds of getting the big pulls are nearly impossible...

That makes sense. I think it might still carry different value just because of the "SP" printed on the card instead of "SP Authentic" but I'm not sure and haven't been able to get a definitive answer
