ryan likes the red wings, and exemplifies their strong work ethic
Kenny Ryan is a 6-0, 204 or so pound right winger who loves his position, has a solid work ethic, and likes everything about the Detroit Red Wings.
“I live about 45 minutes from Ann Arbor so my family and friends get to come up and go to the games, which is always nice walking out after a game and seeing them,” Ryan said. “On certain lines you might have to be that player that does the dirty work and if that has to be me I am more than willing to do it.”
Ryan is a goal scorer who can also setup his teammates and he is certainly striving to be a complete player.
“Scoring goals is always fun I won’t lie. It’s something that you always try to do, to get the big goal, but setting up your guys with a nice pass is a good feeling too,” he added. “I haven’t really thought about what I like better but I definitely like scoring goals.”
One of his favorite Detroit Red Wings has certainly impressed this prospect in more ways than one.
“I love watching Pavel Datsyuk and what he does. Obviously Henrik Zetterberg too. I like them all. He (Datsyuk) could get over 100 points a year but he’s so unselfish in how he plays. I was kind of surprised that this was his first Selke Trophy nomination. Obviously he deserves it.”
Ryan is like any other high school kid who hates cafeteria food so he cherishes his lunch break and the usual lunch spot.

nah...stopping him cold on rushes was good enough for me. Same thing with A.J. Treas. I worked out with him and played against him, and hes nothing special.
