Terrible basketball doesn't get a 16 point lead at one point. Give the Magic credit for playing Better basketball.

Exactly my point....I just worded it wrong and left out "in the 2nd half" after terrible team basketball. When the Cavs play THEIR GAME (First half), Orlando has no chance against them.

I think you need to realize that Cleveland was not promised, and neither does it deserve, a free ride to the title. The first two teams they played were at a far lower level than them, but there are a limited number of teams out there that can challenge them. Orlando is one of them, and so are Denver and L.A. None of those teams is going to go quietly.
"Playing your game" means doing it consistently for the whole game. If you watched the Orlando vs. Boston series, you'll know how many times Orlando put up double-digit leads against Boston only to lose them or come close to losing them. So in this series it's going to come down to whoever can "play their game" for the entire game, because both teams can be crushing when they're at their best.Last edited by gatorboymike; 05-21-2009 at 02:05 PM.

there is no chance they were going to sweep and they have no shot at winning the next 4 in a row...
this is the MVP..
And Jeremy, i think you forgot, the refs were trying to have the Cavs win, you cannot honestly say that the foul that fouled out Dwight was a legitimate call, it was an AWFUL call and could've decided the game...

The refs were HARDLY on the Cavs side the entire night. That entire 4th quarter, there was nothing but terrible calls that went the Magic's way.

so you dont care to answer this? you cannot honestly say that the foul that fouled out Dwight was a legitimate call, it was an AWFUL call and could've decided the game...
i've already stated in another thread that the refs were terrible on BOTH teams, but the Cavs got the important calls such as 5 of the 6 fouls on Dwight could've been no calls

What in God's name are you talking about? When have I EVER said that Cleveland "was promised or deserves a free ride to the Finals"? The bottom line is that when the Cavs play THEIR GAME, Orlando can't compete with them. If they don't play their game, then Orlando will win the series. It's not complicated.

The last call was ticky tacky....that doesn't discount every other foul in the 4th quarter that didn't go the Cavs way. I'm not gonna complain about the officials though (aside from they were terrible on both ends for the most part), because the Cavs just didn't bring it the entire 2nd half.

it reminded me of the old LBJ, the one who sits there trying to "out-deke" the defender, wastes all the shot clock and gets a poor shot for himself or his teammate..the Magic were smart, they gave him his points, but everyone else suffered,
also i think his "cramps" were an excuse

I do find it funny though how when the Cavs lose ONE GAME, everyone acts like the Cavs are garbage.
