    Input on new PC...

Can't decide if I want to start the 08-09 BTP Future Stars Auto set or not...need your help deciding. The upsides are more cards to chase which means more trades I hope (and ive had NONE as of late). Its a nice set and I love autos. Downside is there are some scrubs who will never see the light of day. Anyways...input wanted

I say go for it. I think it's a nice looking set. Also, there could be the next Brodeur or Roy in that collection of scrubs...who knows who can break out.

I am going against the idea as at least half of those players will never play in the NHL. I dont really think its worth the time to chase down 50 autos in which 20 or 30 will never play an NHL game....just my thoughts, maybe try a different auto set

    Andy,

What about the jersey set from Between the Pipes. ITG makes awesome looking game used cards. There are some scrubs in the jersey set, and some great players.

I completely agree with GOSHARKSGO on this one. It may be fun now, but a couple years down the road, you're going to see that most never played a game and while you spent money on boxes or individual cards, you won't get much of a return back if you decide to break up the set.

I say go for it. Whether it takes a day, or years, chasing a paticular set can be rewarding in a lot of different ways. Plus in order to obtain all of the cards, you are probably going to have to do more networking amongst traders here and on other boards and card shows. Which means new people and possibly new friends. Potential sources for your other PC needs, Like Boyle.

Go for it, and Good Luck
