[POLL] Panini or Donruss/Playoff on the brands?

This poll could have a major impact on how Panini produces their cards this year! If you haven't heard, Italian-based Panini has purchased Donruss/Playoff. Donruss/Playoff is now Panini America Inc. Panini decided to keep the entire Donruss/Playoff staff and they will be making the same product you enjoy each year.

One of the biggest discussions at the Hawaii Trade Conference last week was related to the Panini name/brand and how it should relate to Donruss/Playoff products and brands.

For example, is the "Playoff" or "Donruss" name important to "Contenders" and "Elite" brands? Would it effect your purchases if you were buying "Elite" vice "Donruss Elite" or "Contenders" vice "Playoff Contenders"? Does sticking a the Panini Name on the product really effect the product? Technically, you are buying the exact same product, but Panini would like your input on how important the Donruss/Playoff name is to the product. These polls will be sent to Panini!

Please take a few seconds to answer the poll questions.

Question 1: How important is the Donruss/Playoff name to Panini products like Elite and Contenders?
Question 2: Would you buy more, the same amount or less of the Panini product if the Donruss/Playoff name was replaced Panini on the boxes/cards?
Question 3: If Panini replaced all of the Donruss/Playoff names on the product where should the Panini name/logo go?

A great move by Panini to listen to their constituents. I appreciate the opportunity to chime in on these kind of issues...it shows they really care about the hobby and want to do what's right by the collectors.
