    Bowman Redemption Cards - Questions

I was pack opening tonight and pulled a pair of redemption cards for Uncirculated parallels...

Anyone gotten these and already redeemed them?
    Gotten the cards?

Are they for Silver or Gold? Does it really take 6-8 weeks?

Is it worth redeeming them or should I trade them away to someone who really likes redeeming things?

Personally, I hate redemptions when I don't know what it is I'm getting... But these have tickled my fancy since I really like the layout of the 2004 Bowman set.

Any tips/responses would be appreciated. :)

Those redemptions are for the gold parallel cards. Once you redeem them, you can sell them online on www.thepit.com. I don't know what kind of fees are involved with selling them, because I've never done that, but I do know that it costs around $5-7 if you want to actually try to get the card in hand. It looks like most of the scrubs sell for around $1-2, stars sell for higher of course.

Personally, I would redeem them. It looks like the unredeemed cards also sell for $1-2 on eBay. And who knows - you might get lucky!

By the way - if you redeem them and get a Jason Hirsh, let me know!

Hmm... Interesting. So it's a loss in money unless you get a really good card.

I'll probably end up redeeming it. As much as I hate redemption cards... Why not? I like sending in for NPNs, and this seems very much like the same thing.
