i concur but if jack wants 4-5 million a year you have to trade him dont you think? ive been a fan of jack since day one, my son has his jersey but if he holds out for a ton off money stall is a good return for him.

if he wants 4-5 mill a year i'd sign him for 15 years at that price. and give him a fat signing bonus

and if you sign johnson for 5 million a year whats doughty gonna want 7-8. jack hasnt proved much yet he needs to be better on defense for sure. we need to sign him cheap so we can go after what we really need which is a high scorer. and not this cap of trading frolov to get it done. are you going to trade fro/purcell & a 1st for kovalchuk sure it sounds good but what are we gaining 10 goals.

debate time. who is the kings 6th defenseman next year?
possibilities are:
Drewiske
Hickey
Teubert
Harrold
Voynov
I have to think that Drewiske and Hickey will split the time or it will be Drewiske and Hickey will be in the AHL and harrold will be carried in case of injury

Drewiske will be #6. hickey will start in manchester and be up soon. teubert has alot of maturing to do he wont be up for at least another year.

i'd LOVE for voynov to get the call for a few games. kid is so underrated. he isnt on the level of drew do or jmfj but he has some great potential. i think harrold is done on D is he not? seems like hes fully transitioned to a winger now. i think hickey could be ready and he and drewiske should split some time. give teubert time for sure.

i hope harrold is done all together. just like ivanans armstrong & calder. the kings 4th line line should be a line of kids that have played together. boyle-lewis-moulson give it a shot cant be anyworse that the ivanans of the world.

see i felt the same way as you. now its different. for SURE drop army and calder. you HAVE to keep ivanans. you NEED a guy to go out there and be the enforcer. especially with a young, really not that big team. ivanans does his job. i have no complaints about him. but for sure get rid of calder and armstrong. theyre pointless
