    Protective covering?

I have a few 06-07 UD Trilogy Auto Focus cards from a lot I'd recently gotten. They have some sort of protective covering on the front, making it very difficult to see the card itself. Does anyone know what that is? A friend of mine said something about peeling vs unpeeling, but I'm not sure what difference it makes.

Its exactly what you said "Protective Covering" Trilogy put that on there cards mainly because of the Plexi Glass Type of Cards they made to protect the plastic from scratching, Just like Finest back in the day used to put on the Clear Protective Covering that Said Peel but most people left them on to protect the Surface, My Suggestion to you is Leave the Protective Covering on if preserve's the Cards surface Only remove it if your going to Grade it, Thats my Reason's for not removing any of mine but if you remove it, it wont hurt the value of the card in any way so its totally up to you on whether you want to remove it or not, Hopefully this helps you on your question you asked...

I agree that keeping it on keeps it in better condition. But then the covering is never going to be taken off and the cards dont look as nice with the covering on them. I think every one of these should have been peeled.

You're right, my bad. I have a Diogu thats autographed but with no covering. I have five RCs that are covered, they're serialed to 999. Thanks for the help folks, I just wanted to make sure that peeling them would not hurt the value. I'd been wanting to put them in my bucket but when they're covered it wouldnt have made much sense.
