just keep playing angel. that's how I learned when I started playing 2 years ago.
Watching television is a great way to learn a little, but remember, patients is the best way to play and when watching on TV they only show premium hands and hands where people play. Most poker players fold about 80% of their hands if I remember correctly.
For most patients is the hardest thing to get used to, but after losing a few tournaments very quickly they seem to get better.
Can't wait to watch this year.

I would HIGHLY suggest looking/asking around on some local games with people from the area. Its a great way to build live experience and get used to tournament play. It is not the end all in leading to playing the WSOP main event, but its a good stepping stone. I have played all winter and I am going to try casino games here shortly where the people play a lot more "by the book" compared to the average joe at your local bar.

In my opinion, WSOP is the biggest waste of ESPN airtime... Poker isn't a sport, but rather a casino game.

As much as I love poker, ESPN definitely covers it a bit too much. Plus its hard to watch it already knowing the results ahead of time.

One of these years I'm going to enter. As long as I finish in the money I would be good with it. Easier said than done though.
