The link to the TTM Manager has been added as a sticky now. It should be accessible at the top of every page soon.

We hope so!
Members adding addresses and their responces to their requests will determine, if this is a true homerun! Please realize that you can enter your letter as pending when you send it then track the results later to see your personal return percent and add an missing address at the same time or get better tracking on the validity of an listed address!

What going to happen when all the players that are listed by C/O Team When they get traded or moved to minors or retired your going to have to delete the address all the time that going to take a lot of work every day no matter what sport their being moved and trade Release & retired
plus i see address that have Players & Stars that don't sign ttm and people listing them to get CC
bobby orr a example Hockey Never signs TTM Signs Great in Person

Success tracker
The idea is to track how a player responds at an address. Let us say that Adam Dunn gets traded, but has signed for three people aout of four tries at his Nationals address. We would leave those successes and that address there. Now he is with a new team maybe the Red Sox. Someone will add his new team address and give it a try as he was good via Washington. We will then be able to track how he is with his new team.
We have not been rewarding people with CC for adding addresses to the TTM database at this point. People have not been entering addresses for any other type or reward, but to better the address database and help others!
Guys like Bobby Orr will show that he does not sign at the address listed, if someone posts that he does not.
The whole idea of the database, is that it will show how well an address works. Adding addresses, successes and failures will be the way to make that possible. The idea is to have a tool where all members in the autograph community and contribute and benefit from. I thank you all now for the help with my collection and I hope that I also have helped yours in some small way!

so if i send to adam dunn c/o nationals in the data base ADDY but he at boston i have wasted a stamp right .. Say it takes you 3 Weeks to change it how many people will send to the nationals and waste stamps and cards etc
As for orr i did mark it he does not sign TTM but if i did not people would be sending out to him and getting a RTS Right a address that should have not been in there in the first Place as he does not sign ttm More Wasted Stamps right
that one of the reason i step down as i pride myself in Tested addy only
mike has been giving cc out for address take a look at Annouments section Mike

I have read the post in the Announcements section. I think it is terrible to give out CC for posting addresses. I am sure most of the addresses posted because of that thread where added because of the CC and not to help other collectors. I really doubt all of the addresses where tested. One post in the thread just listed a bunch of players with the team address, I don't know what team it is but I really doubt all of the players sign. I had really high hopes for the TTM Manager but now I will not trust most of the addresses in it.

Addresses are an important part, but not the whole point of a tool like the TTMM. It also helps gauge players' signing habits. How reliable are they as a signer? How long is the typical wait? Do they sign for a fee? Do they sign multiple items, etc. All of those can be answered with something like the TTMM.
Here's the bottom line: The information is no different, really, than the Success threads and Address threads we've had here on the site already. It's simply been all bundled into easy-to-use area. No more posting a success in one thread, checking an address in another, and then posting an RTS in yet another thread. It's all under one roof now with a much easier search feature.
Anytime you're sending out items to be signed, it's "sender beware". There are no guarantees with any address posted. Ever. Ever ever. An address may work flawlessly for 1000 members and then crap out for the 1001st. That's part of the gamble of this hobby and we all know it. Any sender should always check to see where players are playing before they send out. You know that you never send out blindly to a player. Since we're using Dunn as an example, let's say he's with the Nats. A member wants to send to him and they know that he's still playing there, so they pull him up in the TTMM. The Nats' address is right there and they can log in their mailing under his name. If they were to see that he was traded to Colorado (for example), that member could easily find the Rockies' address in the TTMM as well and send to him there.
All we've tried to do is make tracking, trending and research easier for the community. I think it will do a marvelous job.
The TTMM is a community tool. It's not the responsibility of SCF to make sure that the correct addresses are added. It's up to the members to do their best. I've edited addresses when I've noticed errors, typos, etc, but ultimately it lies with the users.Last edited by RockiesFan33; 06-01-2009 at 01:00 AM.

As for the Orr example, it's once again up to the sender who they want to send to. Who's to say that someone won't hit a home run and get him back? Is it unlikely? Sure! Is it impossible? No. I've seen successes in the last few years from enough "Never Sign TTM" guys to know that you can't ever count someone out.
Again, any time you're sending out TTM, that's the chance you take.
