Question About Trader Rating
Just a question that I'm sure I'm not the first, or last to ask. Assuming you've received your end of a trade, you're waiting for the other party to mark their end complete to finish the trade and you have no choice but to give them bad trader rating. I'm pretty sure that the other party will quite likely give me a bad rating as well, when I know for a fact that they got the cards listed in the trade in great shape and in good time. I'm trying to figure out how their ignorance should make me look like the bad guy. I couldn't honestly give them a good rating, for the sake of all of the rest of you traders that may see their ratings as being all good and ending up with the wrong cards in rough shape. I could give the person a good rating to save myself and tray to remember the trader as to not trade with them again. But I'm basically trying to look out for the rest of you and send a bit of a message to this person. Sorry to be so long winded. But any advise would be much appreciated.
cheers,
Elliott

if it is a retalitory negative feedback, it will be deleted. do not be afraid to neg someone if you did nothing wrong.

i would really hope that disciplinary action would be taken against a person who leaves bad feedback in retalliation. Also, I would hope that you would give the guy a chance to correct whatever you felt was wrong. For example if something i shipped happened to get bent in the mail even though i put it in a bubble mailer and wrote do no bend real big on it, i would hope you would at least be willing to trade back or something because some things are just out of our hands. If you are unhappy and they are completely unwilling to do anything about it then I would definitely not be afraid to put a neg feedback

Yea do not worry about it. Contact the SCF Dispute manager and give him the heads up. I recently had a trade were some dude tried scamming me over a cheap $30 auto. He claimed he did not receive my end, so I just sent his end back to him. His mistake was he tried claiming he did not receive that either. I let the Dispute Manager know what kind of scam was being run, and he agreed it was BS and if any action was taken to just notify him and he'd remove any negatives and take further action on my behalf if necessary. Generally SCF is very good with handling situations with bad traders.

I would hope this same leniency was given to me in such a case as well. In this case there have been more than one correctable factors. Didn't get the cards the the other party listed in then trade, the packaging was a three day thread on this very board, and the trade took more than at least a month and a half to complete. After reading back at my original post. This probably should be a PM to a moderator.
