    Newbie question on Top Loaders

ive done a search on the forums and couldnt quite find the answer to this, so i do apologise in advance if it is on the forum somewhere, i have tried looking :)

im just wondering what size top loaders to use for the Jersey/thicker cards around.

There is the 'Regular' Top Loaders for normal cards which is fine, however on the Ultra Pro website, there is 'Thick' and 'Super Thick'.

What point are standard hockey cards?
Side by side, Jersey cards are about twice the thickness of regular cards.

i would like to stock up on top loaders so would appreciate some help with this :)

    thanks!

If your looking at real thick cards you might need to go 130. But anything should fit into that. As cnshockey said just follow his lead. But there a few game used that are extremely thick. Need anything else just ask as you did.

Yeah it can cost some super bucks when you start getting the bigger real thick ones.

the thick and super thick i can get for the same price as the regular here in australia, so im not too worried.

plus, 25 of each will keep me going for a long while i think, especially as they wont be used on every single card.

plus im getting a 100 pack of normal sleeves.

ill be right for a while with all of this hehe.

hopefully ill get a scanner soon to throw up my collection (plus i might need it for Uni), but thats another thread :P

I'll add this question....... does anyone know if they make something BETTER than top loaders, in 180 point? I love the one-touch magnetic holders, but I think 130 point is the biggest they come in. I've got a few cards that are really thick, require 180 point holders (from 'The Cup') but I can't get anything to put them in, besides top loaders.
