Patrick Roy: He Is Done With The Lifestyle Of The NHL

On Wednesday May 27th 2009, Patrick Roy announced that he decided to stay in Quebec city as the Head Coach and GM of the Quebec Remparts of the QMJHL (Quebec Major Junior Hockey League).

I forgot one minor thing: He owns the team!

I sat down and read your reaction to the rumour of Roy in Colorado and laughed at most of your reactions.

There are those who thought he was the saviour of the Colorado Avalanche.

There's Patrick Cwiklinski who basically says that Patrick is a loose canon, a guy who is not stable, and other nice things like that.

Patrick C. it is time for you to get over it.

Lots of interesting info in that article....and I'd have to agree, I really love being able to watch my kid(s) grow and wouldn't want to miss that for anything....

Wow that dude is a bit of a Roy apologist. The fan who commented on Roys being a loose cannon makes some solid points. Roy has done stuff in QC that wouldnt be tolerated at the NHL level and he knows it.

Well the whole point is to show both sides of the story. So just trying to dig some stuff up as usual when finding some articles. It a good chat article and Roy a big name so figured this would get some talk going. Enjoy work calls.
