    Action Packed promo question

    Hey all,

I bought an 89-90 action packed promo test card off eBay (Ewing). It was cheap so no biggie.

My question is, on the back it says SAMPLE (obviously as it was a test)...was this the only run of these cards, or was there an official run as well?

I think Action Packed produced these samples when they applied for an NBA license. I think they got denied, so there is no official card set. I don't remember how many players are in their sample set, but I do have a Magic Johnson.

Thanks, just making sure I have the card that is on the list and not a knock off so to say.

OK, another question for the forum, the 2000-2001 MVP promos, is the back of the card a submission form or like the base card?
