Matt Latos should be on it next week. Almost threw a no-hitter in his last Double-A start - and has only given up 12 hits and 2 runs (0.50 ERA) in 36 1/3 innings so far this year, with 38 strikeouts.

In comparison to other message boards, this place sounds like crickets chirping when discussing prospects.

How much of a stud has bumgarner been over the past year? Guy is simply amazing. I hope he can keep it up. Can't wait to see San Fran's rotation on 2 years (Lincecum, Cain, Bumgarner, Alderson, Sosa). It will be ridiculous.

Assuming he destroys every level this season, do the Cubs look to trade/release Aramis to make way for Josh Vitters, or is there a position change in the future for one of them? I'm honestly not sure how long Ramirez is under contract.

Assuming the Giants can sign both Lincecum after this year and Cain in 2 years when his contract is up

This is true. I think they can probably keep Cain, a he has not done too much to get a big contract elsewhere (yet). Lincecum may be tough for them to keep though, but if they can keep both (and drop Zito's huge contract), then they will have a great rotation.

I went to 2 Portland Sea Dogs games this weekend (Red Sox AA) & got a pic/auto from Aaron Bates ('Men Among Boys' section) :)

I view Pitchers the same as basketball players... It doesn't matter if they are good or not someone will give them a big contract
