I seem to remember a certain player named Kobe not shaking hands with Shaq thier first game playing each other since the break-up...so that lack of sportsmanship shows he is no MVP.

Hahahhahaa you brought up Shaq and Kobe? They were feuding buddy. And Kobe shook everyone else's hand. Just because your IDOL is in the hot seat doesn't mean that you can bring up Kobe. pshh seriously just admit he was wrong.
And it's different because they had to play a game, it's not like Kobe lost a series to Shaq.

First off, Lebron isn't my idol, he isn't even my favorite Cavs player. Second, I don't care if Shaq and Kobe were feuding, Kobe still should have been the bigger man. If Lebron is considered to have no class because he didn't shake hands, then the same should be applied to Kobe. What is good for one is good for all right? You have no excuses here, Lebron should have shook Orlandos hands and said congrats, but it isn't like Kobe is a class-act either.

It's not the same thing buddy, You don't bring up something that happened like 6 years ago. It's what is happening now is what were talking about. ESPN is talking about how Lebron is disappointing his fans and those that look up to him.
Cav fans are just trying to find other excuses to get Lebron off the hook. Who cares if Kobe didn't shake ONE guys hand. He went to the others on the Heat team and shook their hands.

I'm going to stop posting on here, it is obvious that you won't convince me otherwise, and I won't convince you otherwise, we would just be wasting our time.
I'll end with this, what Lebron did was classless, he should have congratulated Orlando. But every player in the league, even Kobe, have had similar moments throught their career where they should have shown more class or sportsmanship. If you can't agree with me on that, then it is obvious that your a homer. That is all I have to say.

I don't see how Kobe not doing it once is even comparable with Lebron last night. I mean Kobe shook hands with Shaq the next time they meet. Will Lebron do it next time he loses to the Magic in the playoffs? Probably not because it might not ever happen. Not every player is classless like what Lebron did. I mean even Ron Artest shook hands with the Lakers.

James said he sent an e-mail to Howard following Saturday’s game.
“It’s hard for me to congratulate somebody after you just lose to them,” he said. “I’m a winner. It’s not being a poor sport or anything like that. If somebody beats you up, you’re not going to congratulate them. That doesn’t make sense to me. I’m a competitor. That’s what I do. It doesn’t make sense for me to go over and shake somebody’s hand.”
Oh, no! He didn't apologize for not shaking hands! LeBron James is the devil! What a classless punk! How will anyone ever look up to him after that quote?!?!?!!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I've never thought of Lebron as a classy individual. Just another sore loser who can't spare a few seconds to congratulate the winning team.
He's still young so perhaps he'll learn one day about sportsmanship and class to go along with his ability to play the game. He's a great player, but still far from being the face of basketball (ala next Michael Jordan).
