Seriously though, this matchup will present a point of reference for future arguments about who's better between Kobe and LeBron (you know, the kind of argument that makes up 99% of all basketball-related discussion). If the Lakers win, it'll be clear evidence that Kobe is better, because Kobe smacked up Dwight and Dwight smacked up LeBron. Unless of course, the Cavs beat the Lakers in the 09-10 finals, in which case we'll have rock-paper-scissors on our hands. If the Magic win, the Kobe fans and LeBron fans will still be eternally at each other's throats. But one thing will be for sure: Dwight fans will be able shut them all up. Then maybe I can make a new signature banner for myself.

Shut who up? Kobe and Lebron are still better than Dwight no matter what lol.

And i see this series going 6-7 games, i'm very scared of the Magic since this is the only team the Lakers had trouble with. But i see them pulling it out. They will steal one on the road.

i wont be watching probably. and yes its because im bitter, no problem admitting it. its just too hard to watch the finals i was so sure we would be in.

You and Mo Williams both thought that, you can thank him for opening his mouth and saying that they would win, as soon as he said that I knew it was over for them. Oh well there is always next year.

Seriously though, the Lakers have a reputation for being weak on the inside. This will be a chance for Gasol and Odom to shut up the critics or prove them right. I can't think of better way to measure your inside game than against Howard.

I'm going to enjoy this series because of the outside shooting on both sides.

Its tough for me to choose. Id love to see Kobe win another ring (especially since it'd be without shaq), but i gotta go with the Big Fella. GO MAGIC!!!

It is going to hopefully be a great series. The Magic will be jacking up 3's like always, and their size and strength could pose problems for the Lakers. The Lakers were tossed around under the glass the whole series against Denver. If they can toughen up and get Bynum to take care of Howard, I can see the Lakers taking it in 6.
