    2 boxes '08 Timelines / 1 box '08 Tristar Yankees Prospects

I opened up a couple boxes of 2008 UD Timelines. Figured $60 for two boxes dlvd was a great deal. Pulled tons of stars and rookies (common and SP versions) including different versions of Votto, Bruce, Longoria (PC), Masterson, Fukudome, Buchholtz, and others. I also pulled 4 diff. Arods for my PC as well as some Cardinals. Ask if you're looking for any RC's from this set and I'll lyk what I have. As far as the hits I pulled these:

    Box 1 was so-so:
JR Towles #171 auto RC #/99
    German Duran #116 auto RC

    Box 2: -- even better
    Jonathan Van Every RC auto
Blake Smith USA baseball auto -- almost thought it might have been Strasburg--dang!
    Joey Votto #237 #ed 06/25 parallel

Overall, it was a very fun break for $60.

From my '08 Tristar Yankees Edition box, I pulled a good stack of Charleston Riverdogs former and current players (all PC). I have a few in-person autos of Jesus Montero on a bat, cards, and ball ...and now I actually have my first certified Montero auto from Tristar. I was very happy with the box and got it for less than $20

As a bonus with my purchase I received 3 free packs of '08 UD Series 2 and pulled a Josh Beckett GU jrsy out of those.

My happy-happy-joy-joy hit of the week...UD blaster box with guaranteed GU yielded me a Strasburg USA Baseball GU jrsy card (NFT at this time).

Also pulled a Justin Morneau Captured on Canvas GU jrsy from a 1/2 price '08 UD Masterpiece blaster

Nah...just base...2 Vlads and a Wright. I figured you had all the base already.
    #2-Wright, #45-Vlad, and #254-Vlad

Don, long shot, but any Vlad or Wright parallels?

Yeah, I do. The parallels are tough to find because you can't always tell they're parallels :)

If I'm not mistaken, the regular gold parallels are only for the first 100 cards in the set and are pretty easy to tell apart since the base are silver. The gold parallel have gold border and gold "UD Timeline" logo. It's the numbered Timeless Teams parallel versions that are hard to tell (cards #211-310) which is which. My Votto #/25 looks like a holofoil silver. Cards #/25 are supposed to be gold, but the Timeless Team silver cards are #/100 and look gold. Go figure...

The other parallels are the 1994 All-Time Heroes 20th Anniv. parallel (cards #131-180). You can tell the difference on those by seeing a gold foil 20th Anniversary logo stamp at the top of the parallel version

I didn't see any other parallel cards that are in the set...
