Larry Doby 05 Sp Legendary Cuts /32
First African American to play in the American League for the Cleveland Indians back in 1947. Appeared in 7 allstar games and was a key contributor in the Indians 1948 World Series run against the Boston Braves, was the 1st black player ever to hit a homerun in a World Series. Made the HOF in 1998. Died June 18, 2003
