Stern to have a chit-chat with Lebron
NBA commissioner David Stern says he has reached out to LeBron James about James' refusal to speak with the media after the Cleveland Cavaliers were eliminated from the Eastern Conference finals.
But Stern is withholding judgment and not ready to makes his views on the incident public until he talks to James about what happened, he said Tuesday on ESPN Radio.
In an appearance on "The Herd with Colin Cowherd," Stern acknowledged he was not pleased that James, the league's reigning MVP, didn't meet with the media, or shake hands with the Orlando Magic, following the Game 6 loss Saturday night.

If anything, it'll be Stern who has to answer to LeBron, not the other way around, for not ensuring that the officiating was terrible enough.

Suspend him? That is pretty extreme, maybe if he did something like this before, then I'd expect a game or two suspension, but get real dude. He isn't going to be suspended for not talking to the media and not shaking hands.
And if it were someone else, it wouldn't have been as big a deal and they probably wouldn't have even been fined.

LMAO so he didn't shake hands with the other team, big deal. his job is to play basketball and that's what he did, he did his job and then he left. if anyone is truly offended by lebron not shaking hands with the other team than you really need to get out more.

so you are saying you would do the same thing? the point is he gloats when he wins but when he loses he cant handle it and acts like a little boy basically storming out of the arena...classless is what it is..he had no problem shaking hands of the Pistons & Hawks when they lost to the Cavs, apparantly he thinks he's better than everyone else and is above everyone else
