well i was supposed to hold on to this til fri. and i was also gonna live break it here but my dad and brother in law were over and i don't see them that often so i said hey lets crack this together. of course i pulled both the auto and the threads when i was hoping they would but we still had fun. anyways.

jeff gordon hot threads multi 11/25. red stripe and maybe a little white in the corner or maybe thats just the back of the card, hard to tell.

You did a heck of alot better than I did. A whole box and not one autograph or Race used card. I'll never buy another box.

amped that doesn't seem right. unopened hobby boxes are guaranteed 1 auto and 1 race used piece per box. (mine cost about $70). if you had an unopened hobby box (from card store or ebay) and didnt get any then press pass should reimbursue you.

if you got an unopened retail box (walmart/target) - those are cheaper and while you can find an auto or race used inside, they aren't guaranteed.

I actually bought one Hobby box of the 2009 regular Press Pass and one box of the 2009 Press Pass Premium. I got slammed with both boxes and didn't get anything that was advertised in terms of high dollar inserts. A guy bought a bx of premium while I was at the shop and opened the packs and he got 2 autographs, 1 4 Wide card and 2 Firesuit cards. Talk about seeing red! I guess it's all about the luck of the draw more than anything.
I contacted Press Pass but doubt very much that they'll do anything for me at this point. The lady I spoke with earlier today informed me they no longer had replacement inserts for the current sets on the market. She also pretty much said it was a crap shoot buying boxes and nothing is guarenteed. The ratio lends itself that what they say you should get in every box SHOULD be in there, but in the end, it's not guarenteed. Yeah...whatever.

doesn't sound like press pass customer service to me. anythime i have had problems they have gone out of their way to make it right. i also had a box of premium this year without the auto or firesuit, i was assured it would be taken care of.
