card show questions guys!
hey everyone. I'm new to Sports Card Forum. My name is Anthony and i'm just getting back into collecting after taking a break. I'm a huge Philadelphia fan. Born and raised. Anyway, i had a quick question. Are hobby boxes more expensive at card shows? I am going to one this weekend and want to see what the consenus is. If you guys have any insight, i would really appreciate it. Thank you in advance!

Welcome to the site Anthony,Enjoy. Now to answer your question box prices at card shows are usually cheaper,Especially if there are a couple of people selling who buy in bulk. You can expect to pay anywhere from 5 to 10 dollars cheaper on boxes in the 80 to 100 dollar range,Also look for specials on older product as they usually discount those boxes quite a bit.Hope this helps take care Steve

You can find "wholesale" prices at most shows.
The wholesale supplier here in Nashville is actually higher than some of the dealers that set up at our show.
I carried new wax for a couple of shows, but we have a regular dealer who sells cheaper than we can get wholesale from the town supplier, so I stopped carrying new wax.
