Ripped Rip Cards
Hi everyone, do these cards still hold much value after being ripped?
In a box of Topps Treasury Retail, i pulled a Dwight Howard /25 rip card. Going against my best judgement, I ripped it and got a Manu Ginobli mini...ugh...

I know that Beckett lists the already ripped 07-08 Topps Rip Cards at half the BV of the original ones. I would assume that the 08-09 Treasury Rip Cards would be similar.

Well if something is numbered to /99 and half of the people rip it, then only 50 are left. They hold a greater value unripped. I will tell you the numbering doesn't matter. I had a 10/10 Mike Miller that I ripped hoping for something good. It was only MIke Miller also. I got a Nash mini /279. I would have done better by not ripping it. I would not do it again after this experience. I could have traded or sold it for more.
