This draft was very frustrating. There were a lot of players that fell down the draft due to signability issues. Sanchez at #4 is a candidate for the one of the worst top 5 picks in draft history. Watching guys like Matzek, Purke, Scheppers, Crow, and Stassi drop due to large bonus demands isn't a good thing for baseball.
My new mancrush is Shelby Miller. I'm officially a fan.

Please don't tell me that Scott "20 Mule Team" Boras represents all 5 of those guys plus Strasburg. That vulture will do anything to fatten his nest. I'd rather see him decertified as an agent and investigated for fraud. Just because he never played an inning in the majors due to an injury doesn't give him the right to fleece owners into giving these untested kids exorbitant contracts before they've played a game in even short-season "A" ball.
There's a reason Bill Madden of the NY Daily News nicknamed this vulture the "Avenging Agent". He's a greedy little weasel who isn't making the same kind of money with his legal practice that he does with his excessive commissions on these deals. The Players Association won't give him up because he's made so many of the players rich, but the man is bad for business.
