trade ?
say someone sent money for a card. dc has it being deliverd on certain date - its only been 4 days but no response at all. sent several emails, how long should someone wait to "act" or what can be done? maybe trader is very busy?? how long do you usually wait when getting no response from the other side? I may be jumping the gun but it wouldnt be a prob had i got some sorta response. course I'll prolly get the someone is sick or some kinda major "thing" just happened like I always do but......just kinda starting to feel like the last time I got burned ( and it wasnt on these boards)

i would wait probably a week..if the person still doesn't respond even once..then something's fishy.

You can check their user profile. If they have been on since you have been PM them, contact a mod right away. If someone is scamming you, it is better to act sooner rather than later.

I know it's a little late to post this, but this is the 3rd or 4th post along the same topic...
I'm also a < 20 feedback and must send first/at same time on deals. What I've done is only trade with established board members until I reach my 20. I am mixing in buy/sell/trade transactions to diversify so that member will feel more comfortable dealing with me. I stick to < $20 deals for new traders to prevent getting burned too badly. I've only had to file one dispute so far. It was only for $8 paypal that I never recovered, but the mods worked for 2 months and were very helpful. Like I've said before, I've been in the hobby for 20 years; whether trading online or in person, you WILL get burned at one time or another by hustlers trying to make a quick dollar.
As far as him not returning PMs/emails, he might not have access to internet. I'm military, and depending on my location it could be weeks at a time that I'm away from my computer depending on the mission. You just don't know the situation. Drtom2005's advice is right on the money. Anyway, good luck with the trade. I hope it works out.
