Another weird or even amazing fact
Wilt Chamberlain although he was perhaps the most physically imposing player of his or any generation played his entire 14 year career ( 47,859minutes ) without fouling out of a single game. Thats INSANE

Wow that is pretty interesting, the NBA wasn't as physical as it is now. Plus teams probably didn't come near him in the paint.

completely disagree, i think the NBA was more physical and back then the refs let them be more physical..now if you put a finger on a guy its a foulHidden Content

I agree with Gladdy...the NBA was much, much more physical back then.

When the NBA became a real business in the 90's, Stern had to do everything he could to protect his Stars and keep the "thug" feel out of the game.
I loved the old school, No Blood No Foul play, however I can understand why things are the way they are right now.

The NBA is much more physical now. Players are bigger and stronger than ever. What you can get away with may have changed, but the game itself is played much more physically now.
