Went to the Local card shop today.
Got a couple packs...and spoiler alert...its meh

1 pack of Black Diamond (2008/2009)
-Base...

1 pack of SPX (2006/2007)
-Wayne Gretzky SPExcitement #/999

3 packs of Series 1 (2008/2009)
-Base...
-Johnathan Toews Sophomore Sensations (pc)
-Hannu Toivonen (GU) [seriously, why does he have anything]

1 pack of Artifacts (2008/2009)
-Mike Brown rookie #/999

Really crappy break, so I am going to stay away from packs in general, taking my interest to ebay for a little while. Instead of wasting $27ish bucks, I could buy some nice pc.

I will put scans up in my bucket eventually, for all the 2 cards I need to scan.

Anyways, they are all for trade. So have at it...

Yeah, well for now I am done.
I have already gotten myself off of retail.
Now to kick the pack junk.
I still have yet to pull a young gun out of all the Series 1 I have broken.

So now to find a few deals on ebay, to bring it all back to zero.

Packs could be good sometimes. Once, I opened 3 packs of 08/09 SPA and 1 pack of series 1 08/09 and I pulled a clearcut duos /25 of Zetterberg/Datsyuk and a Brunnstrom future watch auto patch /100 4 colors.

I'm with you Pens - put the money spent on the packs to something on ebay or the sale thread here. Takes away from the thrill of opening - but - you'll never have disappointment from what you get (provided it shows up and is in good condition).

That's what I've been doing is investing money in PC stuff, that's why I never have any traders anymore
