Congrats to the Lakers!
Phil Jackson has only won 1 coach of the year award and he's won 10 championships? There's something wrong with that.

It's cause they give the award out to the coach that does the best during the season.
PJ is a playoff coach

The coach award is often given to coaches who don't even have the best regular season record, either. I looked up some of the coaches who have won that award over the years, and it's an even bigger joke than some of the MVP wins. Phil should have more than one, it's ridiculous.

Congrats to the Lakers and their fans...and congrats to the Magic for reaching the finals...I didn't think they had a shot at getting this far! Congrats to Phil for surpassing Auerbach too...quite an accomplishment!
Even though this series ended 4-1, I feel it was a VERY competitive series, with 4 of the games being able to go either way.
