08/09 Upper Deck BE A PLAYER - Rookie Redemption Cards?
I have cards RED313 (Rookie Redemption #1) and RED322 (Rookie Redemption #10) already submitted to UD. Getting both out of retail packs was a nice surprise.
Do these cards come autographed? Or are they just #'d /99?

Nope, they have the same design as the normal RCs from this year, no auto. The 07-08 BAP RRs have the same design as the 2007-08 normal RCs. Plus RED281 is the first card...they will look like this:

If you got the redemptions out of 2008-09 BAP, you will have to wait for those to be redeemed next spring....as the ones that came out of 2007-08 were just released last month.....
So some are disappointed they have to wait, some were surprised to get them in the mail when they forgot about them...LOL

Just out of curiosity, are all of the BAP redemptions for next season's RCs (Tavares, Hedman, Duchane, etc.)? That would make sense if they won't be released until next spring.

CSSports - They were released a while ago, I got my Bogosian months ago.
flemingc04 - They will be XRCs. My Bogosian 07-08 BAP RR is an XRC.

Littlekane - got it - knew they were out but I dont think they were out more than a few months...still have to wait until almost the end of the season pretty much....
XRC are not true rookie cards.....I dont see why Upper Deck is doing them....almost kinda fooling people that they have a jump start at the new rookies but not valued as a RC....

Yeah, I don't like the redemptions at all. In 07-08 it cheated them a true RC. At least this year you will get an RC of some sort.

Will they put out a checklist for these? I pulled red285 from a walmart blaster last week.
