    The Fake Patch-Watch Continues

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=250445524991

This time with a Carey Price Cup RC which has a patch that looks nothing remotely like any of the others readily available to see here: http://s24.photobucket.com/albums/c4...2007-08/Price/

Unfortunately gomaz doesn't have the 55/99 in the photo archive so it can't be demonstrated as false but when you look at that patch, bear in mind that there were no extra shoulder patches on the Habs jerseys last year and there is nothing in their logo that looks remotely like that.

Keep your eyes open at all times!

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I saw that one as well and wow I'd say that's a fake as well. I wouldn't touch it with 10 foot pole.

My boy J has things on lockdown when it comes to patches. He is the archive king and I know he'll continue to combat these jerkies any way he can.

100% fake. Looks like a piece out of a cheap sewn patch.

i wrote the seller and ask why does he sell fakes
    here is his response

''This is a real patch. I won this on ebay in March. The seller ebay ID is peopleschoice7373. If you don't believe me, I have nothing to say. But I want to let you know that I wouldn't ruin by ebay rating because of this card. I have over 600 positive feedbacks at 100%. Thanks, Ken. ''

I can say that this guy does have a load of super high end cards and usually buys top of the line cards such as the one listed along with jersey # gold parallels from the Cup. I highly doubt he's going to waste his time cutting up a card when he throws around 100's of dollars as freely as he does.
