    All-time NHL Draft

Really cool article on the NHL website.

My draft history is not very good but it would be cool to hear everyone's thoughts.

I hardly agree with any of his picks, but it was a fun read. Glenn Murray before Martin Brodeur? No Patrick Roy? And I may be biased but the Guy LaFleur's draft story is much more entertaining than Mario Lemieux. But yes Mario Lenieux number one is accurate.

It goes by when they were actually drafted, not who he'd pick where. So that is why Glenn Murray is before Martin Brodeur. And Patrick Roy was not a top 30 pick in his draft so that is also why he didn't make the list.

I really thought LaFleur would be the top number one pick.

Oh I see. So he picked the best pick for each number. I really disagree now lol!

That's what I thought. They also spelled his name wrong. Correct spelling: Erik Johnson. I just double checked and Derick Brassard was the 6th pick in 2006 (not Johnson as the article suggests) and Erik Johnson was the first overall pick in 2006.

Overall, it was an interesting article to read. Thanks for the post.

Nice article but with all things there going to be some folks not happy with the analysis. Of course it nice to read about a few guys that were before my time in following the Nhl Draft.
