Then there was no need for you to start an argument, you called him names when he never said anything pertaining to you.

Honestly I have no idea who the first responder was, don't remember ever even dealing with him in any manner. I was just writing about this b/c of how I seen other traders being treated and from other experiences i myself have experience in the past and recently.

So, we only rant like this when it happens to us hmm? Where was this post when it wasn't happening to you?

It doesn't matter if you are insulted, it only matters that you act in a manner you see as respectful - if you take online discussions about a hobby seriously enough to be offended by them, you need to re-evaluate yourself before lecturing others. Threads like this are only compounding the negativity.

I'm not even attacking anyone, I just saying that in general be more respectful. How is this compounding the negativity when the whole point of this thread is to Be Respectful and Have Fun Collecting.

This seems like exactally what happened to me..lol

tried to sell something under ebay, but the guy insisted that since he collected the player that i must sell it to him no matter what, i told him my price and if you dont like it fine, he kept insisting my price is wrong, showing me the "last one that sold on ebay was $19" well i show him one ended the same day for $22, he says "it doesnt count because its numbered to single digits" really! people bid higher because the numbering is single digits? lol

a bunch of useless information and my time was wasted, people on here for the most part want 20% under ebay it seems, i say dont sell on here, you'll make more even after ebay fees over there

Person A makes offer to B.
B counter-offer A
A don't like counter-offer from B
A then goes and pm's B several times with insults and name calling

Be respectful of other people, its makes the world a better place.

there was no name calling in my situation, but i said no thanks several times so it was pretty frusterating

pretty funny thread. Everyone knows herdy is rude and hard to deal with so dont deal with him anymore. Also, you need to grow a thicker skin o.p., herdy probably was spot on with his pricing as far as ebay goes and I'd call you a crook too if you try to sell something for way above ebay. I usually use sarcasm though.

It is negative because it is reactionary. The argument got in the way of your "respect" enough to make you react in such a way as to post this thread, thereby only promoting such respect in reference/response to negativity and not as an overall attitude.

The funny part was that this threads was even about herdy. never dealt with him before in anyway, no pm ever sent to him or back, honestly i do believe he is very spot on with his pricing as well

...who made e-bay the price setting mechanism for this industry.
I know most people use it, but I don,t...don't care what it goes for on e-bay. I check beckett and then make my own opinion on what something may be worth to me.
