1998 Leaf R & S set finally complete!
This is an oldie, but a good, tough one to complete with all of the SP's in the set. Back in 1998-1999 I built up about 60% of the set until I had to sell it off to pay a bill. I had even pulled the J.D.Drew RC from a pack when it was still $100 BV.
A couple years ago when the financial situation got under control I said I would try again to finish this one. And I did. So here we are 2 years later I finally added the last 4 cards to it this week. I was picky about the condition of the card so I had to buy a few twice. Luckly no $$ one.
A non-certified Troy Glaus RC card was very hard to track down this summer. I didn't want it certified so I could put it in a penny sleeve and then in the page of the binder. All of them were popping up mint 9 with a $$$ price tag as this set is a little condition sensitive. About two weeks ago I finally found a raw one on the Beckett Marketplace for get this... $24. Yes, it was in mint condition. Thank goodness!
So here are some photos of a few of the pages in my binder of the complete set! The 1st photo has the first page of the set, the 2nd one has a page of the Power Tools SP's, the 3rd one has a page of the Team Lineup SP's, the 4th one has the Magglio Ordonez SP RC in the page, the 5th one has the Troy Glaus SP RC in the page, and the 6th page has the J.D.Drew SP RC in the page.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks everyone!
This one was a tough one because it's harder to track down some of the common/semi-star player SP's 10 years after it's release. The star cards in a set are always easier to find years later, as all base card set builders know. And I swear some of the SP's must have been short printed more than others in the this set.
Side note: Now I just need to finish this 2005 Bowman Chrome set I've been working on since 2005! Of course all I have are auto's left to get with about 4 regular cards. This one will take a while because some of those auto's are $80-$100 each. I pulled the Verlander auto out of a retail $3 pack in 2005 but had to sell it to pay a bill in 2006 so now I have to buy it back. Sigh... :)
