    Rounding off Roosevelt's "New Deal", the G.I. Bill was designed to give proper compensation to members of the armed services upon their return from war (at that time, World War II).

    Nice. It's always good to refresh my memory. What grade do you teach? Also, can you explain what the "New Deal" was? I learned about it, but some parts slip my mind. Was it basically just a set of reforms after the Great Depression?
