Need some Trade Advice..
I'm in the middle of a trade trying to pick up a Crosby Hot Prospects 2 color Patch Auto Rookie.
The other party wants:
Zach Parise The Cup auto patch rc 28/199
Zach Parise ultimate auto patch rc 24/25
Crosby young guns rc
Malkin young guns rc
Kessel the cup platinum rc 2/25
Bobby Ryan ud ice rc 70/99
all the cards I would trade are doubles, and the Crosby would be for the pc, although everything listed minus the Kessel is part of my PC, so I would really be digging into my PC to get the Crosby...

I say if they are doubles that you are trading then you really lose nothing from your pc and add a shiny new piece. As long as you are happy with the difference in bv and or sell value then I say go for it. let us know what you decide.

any chance at selling those doubles, making some good coin, and being able to hunt one down to buy with a nicer patch...
this is nice imo, not sure if you would like the blue patch with the black gold jersey

Thats sweet, but I'm not sure how much I would get for my cards, plus the fees I would be hit with from ebay and paypal...

i think you could make some sales here on the forums (or a couple others as well).. .save on fees atleast..
as far as moving them, i`m sure you`d have no trouble finding suitors, you might need some patience to maybe get that extra 50 bucks you were hoping for, or extra 100 depending on the card..
but i see high stuff move quite consistently via sale, so you never know...
i might be being picky, but you have some deadly cards there, downright awesome cards, whether they are doubles or not, that`s irrelevant imo.. that lot is a once in a lifetime trade acquisition for some as well, so personally (just my opinion on what i would do), i would like to make sure if i`m trading that much quality, i`d want a quality patch coming back as well for the crosby, whether it 3 or 4 colors, evenly distributed, stitching, breaks etc...
just my thoughts though...

actually, i`ll add, the biggest piece of advice (in anything really).. don`t force it either.. i mean if you`re simply excited to get your hands on that crosby and are making the deal just to do that, that is usually the time one pops up shortly thereafter with a reasonable price/trade value with an awesome patch...
you know in your gut too, i mean we`re talking around 2500-3000 in card value here i believe, so make sure it is the crosby hot prospects patch/auto you want, that it`s the right one that will make you happy when you get it, and five years from now when you take it out to look at it..
:) good luck

Personally, no way. Maybe if it was a choice between all the cards mentioned plus either the Ryan Ice rookie or the Crosby YG, but not both. The 2 Parise should top $400 combined. Then the Ryan and Sid YG hover in the $150-$200 range each as well. IMO now is not the time to be acquiring Crosby stuff because everyone wants premiums due to the Cup run. I do not follow Crosby stuff closely but am almost positive i've seen 3 colors go for around $1,000, and 2 colors for between $600-$700. If you really want it, then obviously go for it though.

if crosby is for pc then do it. who cares how much you give up as long as your happy.

Two good pieces of advice from both sides of the coin. Ultimately it matters what you are happy with. OF course as the other member said above Don't Force It. As you might not be happy with your decision if you force it.
