Jerry Stackhouse released
ESPN is reporting that the Memphis Grizzlies have released veteran shooting-guard Jerry Stackhouse after acquiring him in a 4-team trade earlier this week. Stackhouse's salary was around $9 million, but if Memphis released him prior to August 10th, I believe, then they would only take a $2 million hit and have to give Dallas a draft pick.
Will he sign on with another team, or will this be the end of the line for him?

Maybe...or maybe he'd go to LA, Boston or Cleveland for the veteran's minimum for a shot at a title....pure speculation on my part.

No way he goes back to Dallas. He got no playing time there last year. He'll end up in Denver, New Orleans, or another contender.

I don't expect he will be one of Celtics.
But if he becomes one of celtics, it looks interesting like this.
Class of 95
# 1 Joe Smith - might be cavs
# 2 Dice - Spurs
# 3 Stackhouse <<<<<
# 4 Sheed - Celtics
# 5 KG - Celtics
