Bats in the Attic...Please read....

Just wanted to touch base with the SCF Community about our situation at this end. I have deals working, trades pending, etc. and I'll be checking emails throughout the next couple of weeks (mostly at night) to tighten up any loose ends. My nights will be dedicated to relaxing and helping out the Events Team.

Our story:

We live in very nice apartment complex and about two months ago noticed "droppings" coming from the light vent above the bathtub.

The apartment management had their service people get up in the attic and found nothing, so they set mice traps. We could hear the scratching (mostly at night, but sometimes during the day). NO mice were caught in the traps, so they moved the installation around...and found bats.

The called in an exterminator (now this has been going on for two months!) and the exterminator estimates 200 bats are in the attic area above our apartment. Monday they set live traps and caught 57 that night.

They will have to remove all the bats, then remove the insullation in the attic and down inside the walls where the bats have been living.

So we get to move! They have already set up an apartment for us, but we have to move...and they are being generous and giving me two weeks to do it (actually it's the same complex.....but on the ground floor and a nicer apartment at the same price!)

So....if I don't get back with you right away...please forgive me.... it's only a matter of time and I'll be bugging all of you again!
