U.S. Beats Spain...In Soccer
Did anyone else see that the U.S. beat Spain in the Confederation Cup. Spain hadn't lost since 2006. As a soccer fan/player this is huge. When I watched the U.S. play lately, I knew we were improving, but this is awesome! Now the next step is to actually get soccer recognized in the U.S. It is a great sport. It requires stamina, coordination, teamwork, and no matter what others say; It is a physical sport. Go U.S. Soccer Team!

Great game! Jozy Altidore seems like he is going to be really exciting to watch for a looong time. Only 19 and he looks like a man child. I couldn't believe they got that second goal. I was so sure it was to far back but what a crazy adjustment. I thought we were going to blow it in the second because man they just kept the ball down there and kept getting some really good looks. Great game by Howard, man he was all over the place. Now this has to get you excited about soccer!

Yeah. I'm so pumped. I knew Altidore was going to be good the first time I saw him. The only downside was the Michael Bradley Red Card. The U.S. always get bad calls.

Yea that red card was terrible! He went for the ball and I don't know how they didn't see it. Now if we had Rossi....I think the fan base would be growing. Hopefully one day he'll want to play for USA

That was just luck for the USA team. They are going to loose to Brasil in the Finals. SA does not have a chance against Brasil. Also, they are not going to do so good in the Wrold Cup , if they make it

Yes, I know they still aren't at the top level, but hopefully this win attracts more fans and players.

I was watching it because me and my fam do enjoy national soccer just not like mlg that much...I thought USA had no chance at all but when they scored that first goal and I saw the goalie play the way he was I got excited.
